We are based on Kefalonia in the picturesque harbour village of Fiskardo. We have been providing a low key but quality service to explorers and visitors to our village since 1993.

 

If you are planning a holiday on Kefalonia or in Fiskardo we can arrange a variety of interesting things to do, that can greatly enhance your stay in this beautiful part of Greece.

 

Our office is situated right on the harbour, next to the Captain’s Cabin restaurant and directly above the Windmill Cafe.

To make the most of your visit to Kefalonia, a hire car is almost essential as there is so much to see and discover. Pama Travel have been renting cars to visitors to Fiscardo for more than twenty years and have the experience and local knowledge to help with all your car hire requirements.

 

If you are arriving on the ferry, rent a car from Pama Travel and explore the island in a comfortable air-conditioned hire car. If you are staying in one of the nearby villages, rent a car from Pama Travel for the duration of your stay and take advantage of our excellent rates and good service.

 

We are happy to take advance bookings for hire periods of 3 days and more. However, if you are visiting Fiscardo just for the day and need a rental car, we can probably help.We keep a few of our most economical hire cars outside our office for day visitors wishing to rent a car just for the day.

 

We don’t advance take bookings for car hire of less than three days, but if you call or visit the office the day before you need the hire car, we will do our best to reserve one for you.

Cruise the crystal waters of the Ionian on a traditional wooden caique. From the moment you arrive on board you will be totally looked after, as the group sizes are kept small to ensure a warm and friendly atmosphere.

 

This may be the first time that you have tried snorkeling; so to help you get started and get closer to the marine life our first stop will be at a beach which gently slopes into the sea. Here in the safety of the shallow water we will teach you the basics of snorkeling, and in only minutes you will be marveling at the underwater life.

 

A highlight of the day is to help collect examples of marine life, which will then be displayed in our onboard aquarium. This gives everybody,including those people who are lazing on deck, a chance to experience the marine world… without getting wet!

 

At our lunch stop there will be time to relax and enjoy our sumptuous buffet washed down with a refreshing glass of wine or soft drink.

 

This day out is highly rated on trip advisor and we would recommend early booking in order to ensure a place.

Ithaca Day Cruise

A day trip to Ithaca with the Odysseas

A wonderful chance to visit the famous and beautiful island of Ithaca on board a traditional wooden caique. The Odysseas will leave Fiskardo at 10:00 and set sail for Aphales bay on the northernmost tip of Ithaca. Here she will drop anchor off a sandy beach and passengers may swim from the boat if they wish.

 

After the swim, the Odysseas will head for Frikes where there will be time to explore the village and enjoy a coffee at one of the several waterfront cafes.

 

The next stop will be the picturesque village of Kioni. Easily identified by the 3 windmills guarding the entrance to the bay. Kioni is arguably one of the prettiest villages in the Ionian. There will be time to explore the shops and relax for lunch on the quayside.

 

After departing Kioni, the Odysseus will head to another bay for a swim, before returning to Fiskardo at approximately 16:30.

 

This trip runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

3 Islands Cruise

A relaxing cruise around 3 different islands

This cruise will take you close to the untouched island of Meganissi, a picturesque tiny island in the Ionian Sea, 4 miles to the northeast of the island of Lefkada (Lefkas).

 

The first stop will be near the quiet bay of Spiglia, where there are interesting and beautiful caves, Papanikolis being one of them, named after the submarine that sheltered there during World War II.

 

The Romantica will then proceed to Skorpios Island, bought by Aristotle Onassis in the 1960’s and now leased to a Russian Oligarche. The boat will circle Skorpios for photo opportunities. The Romantica will then anchor in one of the beautiful sandy bays, a perfect opportunity for a swim: Either on Skorpios or nearby Thilia.

 

Lastly, the Romantica will take you to Sivota one of Lefkada’s main tourist resorts . You will have plenty of time to browse the village and sample the variety of tavernas for lunch, before returning to Fiskardo.

 

This trip runs every Thursday.

Outdoor Activities

Jeep Safari

Relax in the comfort of an air-conditioned Land Rover Defender and discover hitherto unreachable parts of Kefalonia. Our skilled and experienced drivers will take you off-road, to find little known and unforgettable locations. Our most popular Safari takes you over Mount Aenos at 1,628 meters high, the views are quite spectacular. The mountain is also home to a unique species of fir tree and the fabled wild horses of Aenos.

 

Kayak

Join one of our Kayak excursions and, accompanied by an experienced guide, paddle out of Fiskardo harbour into the blue Ionian sea. Discover the unique coastline, small bays, secret caves and white rock beaches. Single or Double kayaks available. Light lunch provided

 

E-Bike

The most ecological way to explore and with minimum effort! We have state of the art e-bikes available to hire individually, or as part of an organised e-bike excursion. For those with a spirit of adventure, our e-bike excursions take you well off the beaten track. Accompanied by our experienced guide, you will discover hidden beaches, little known tracks and enjoy amazing views. A light lunch is provided along the way too.

Set sail from Fiscardo at 10:00 am and enjoy a leisurely sail or motor to a nearby island of your choice. Swim in the crystal clear sea and then either enjoy a picnic, or moor in a small harbour and indulge in a taverna lunch.

 

In the afternoon, the breeze usually picks up so you should be able to experience the exhilaration of a good sail back to Fiscardo.

 

We have 3 Yachts to choose from:

 

– A 31 foot yacht for a maximum of 4 people
– A 36 foot yacht that can accommodate up to 6 people
– A 37 ft yacht that takes maximum of 8 people

 

Find an Island and stop for Lunch. Explore Meganisi, Lefkada, Ithaka or Northern Kefalonia.

 

The itinerary can be very flexible – you choose and discuss with our skipper.

The price includes fuel, skipper, soft drinks, and beer.

The sheltered waters of the channel between Kefalonia and Ithaca provides an ideal environment for boating.

It is safe and easy, with a little instruction, to become your own captain for the day and explore the numerous hidden bays and secluded coves that form this particularly beautiful coastline.

 

With one of our boats, you are well equipped to take to the sea in safety and enjoy the beauty of a coastline that cannot be easily reached by road.

 

The cruising limit is a within 3 nautical miles of Fiscardo, which gives plenty of opportunity to find your own private beach or even cross the channel to Ithaca.

 

We have a selection of well-maintained boats to choose from:

– Basic 25 HP with tiller steering & pull start – carries up to 3 people incl. driver.
– Standard 25 HP with remote steering & electric start – carries up to 3 people incl. driver.
– Deluxe 25 HP with remote steering & electric start – carries up to 3 people incl. driver
– Deluxe 30 HP with remote steering & electric start – carries up to 5 people incl. driver.
– 40 HP Speedboat – carries up to 5 people incl. driver. Licence required.
